Vivi Orunitia, also called Child with Merlin's Hat, is a mysterious playable character in Final Fantasy IX. This wandering child is the second character encountered by the player, who takes control of him in the villages of Alexandria. Small, shy and stuttering, Vivi has the reputation of being one of the most tragic and moving key characters in the entire game.
