Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana. Snake bracelet made of 925 silver, which is part of the "Animalia" collection depicting an African bush snakes. Atheris hispida is a species of viper endemic to Central Africa, known for its particularly bristly dorsal scales, which give it a bristly appearance. No subspecies have currently been recognized. The male of the species grows up to a maximum length of 73 cm (body 58 cm, tail 15 cm). Females grow to a maximum of 58 cm. Males are surprisingly longer and thinner than females, which is rare for reptiles. The head has a short muzzle, even more in males than in females. The eyes are large and surrounded by 9–16 circo-orbital scales. The eye sockets are separated by 7–9 scales. The nostrils are slit and separated from the eyes by two scales. The eyes and supralabial scales are separated by a single row of scales. The supralabials are 7-10, of which the fourth is enlarged. The body is covered with elongated and very bristly scales, giving this animal a peculiar 'ruffled' appearance. The scales around the head and neck are the longest, shortening posteriorly. In the center of the body, the dorsal scales are organized in 15–19 rows. There are 149–166 ventral scales and 35–64 subcaudals.
