We define the berserk of the Eva as the way in which the soul housed in the Eve awakens the bestial conscience from the state of quiescence and leaves it a certain freedom to act. There are two cases:

• Partial berserk: the soul partially leaves the bestial consciousness of the Eve free, so that the latter can activate the giant even in the absence of power. In this case, the Eve maintains a mild form of humanity.

• Total berserk: the soul leaves the bestial consciousness of the Eve totally free, so that the latter can activate the giant even in the absence of power. In this case, the Eve is totally at the mercy of her awakened primitive instincts.
