Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana. Bracelet dedicated to one of the most poisonous reptiles that inhabit our planet: the rattlesnake, made of 925 silver, which is part of the "Animalia" collection.
It is a reptile of the rattlesnake species, belonging to the viperidae family. They owe their name to the particular tail with a kind of rattle that emits a characteristic sound when frightened or annoyed. Rattlesnakes are native to the American continent and can measure up to an average of 120 to 180 centimeters, with a weight of about seven kilos. The body is covered with scales varying in color from gray to yellow to light brown. The male is recognized by the female because it is longer and has a wider body. They are both equipped with two long poison teeth, hollow inside and retractable when they close their mouths. The head has a triangular shape and between the eye and the nostril there is a dimple with thermo-receptors that allow it to identify the prey based on the heat emitted by their body. The tail is white and characterized by horny rings which constitute the characteristic rattle, residues of the previous moult.
