Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana.
This ring made of 925 Silver depicting Cerberus is part of the "Special" collection.

Cerberus in Greek mythology was one of the monsters guarding the entrance to the underworld over which the god Hades reigned. It is a monstrous three-headed dog, of which Zachary Gray, an English writer of the eighteenth century, states:

«This Dog with three Heads represents the past, the present and the future, which contain, or like whoever said they devour, all things. That Hercules won it shows that heroic deeds are victorious over Time and subsist in the Memory of Posterity. "

His whole body is covered, instead of hair, with very poisonous snakes, which rise up at every bark, making their hideous tongues hiss. Its task is to prevent the living from entering and the dead from leaving.

In ancient times even the "bare ground" was called Cerberus (or "wolf of the gods") since everything buried seemed to be devoured in a short time. The term has entered the Italian language to designate, par excellence and often ironically, a surly and difficult to overcome guardian.
