Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana. This pendant depicting Eva 01 is part of the “Otaku” collection.

This ring is dedicated to the Mobile Unit Eva 01, more commonly known by the abbreviation Eva, mechaantropomorph introduced in the Japanese anime TV series "Neon Genesis Evangelion", produced by the studio Gainax and directed by Hideaki Anno and in the manga of the same name written and illustrated from Masamoto.
This robot in particular, recognizable by the number "01" applied to the exoskeleton, turns out to be the progenitor of the others, hiding a terrible mystery.
In the original animated series, the Evangelions are gigantic machines built by a research center called Gehirn and the special agency Nerv for the purpose of fighting mysterious beings called Angels. The subjects assigned to pilot an Evangelion are called Children and are chosen by a body called IstitutoMarduk. Eva-00 is piloted by Rei Ayanami; 01 by Shinji Ikari; 02 from Asuka Langley and Kaworu, and 03 from Toji. The first four units are joined by the Eva-04, never appeared in the animated series and in the original manga, and nine other unmanned units called Mass Production Model introduced in the film "The of evangelion".
Their design, inspired by the demons of Japanese folklore, caused several problems during the production of the animated series, only to be re-evaluated over the years by critics and the public and be used for various merchandising items.
