Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana. This ring depicting a phoenix made of 925 silver, which is part of the "Animalia" collection.
The phoenix, also often known by the epithet of phoenix and also called the fire bird, is a mythological bird known for being reborn from its ashes after death. The ancient Egyptians were the first to speak of Bennu, which then in Greek legends became something different, namely the phoenix. In Egypt she was usually depicted with the Atef crown or with the sun disk emblem. Contrary to the "Phoenicians" of all other civilizations, the Egyptian one was not depicted as similar either to a bird of prey or to a colorfully colored tropical bird, but was initially similar to a sparrow (first dynasties) or a gray heron; moreover it did not rise from the flames (as in the Greek myth and subsequent myths) but from the waters.
