It's hard to understand why, but Friday the 13th is always a bit scary. We are seized by that subtle anxiety that things can go wrong, that bad luck takes over our day. Yet we are adults, vaccinated and rational. Or at least two out of three. Maybe it's because we grew up watching the saga of Friday the 13th, that series of horror films in which some young Americans go to camp at the damn Crystal Lake, then Jason arrives and makes them dry.
Jason is that always dirty killer, with the hockey goalie mask and his face all messed up, who appears in all the films of the saga but who in reality is not the killer of the first. In fact, in the legendary Friday the 13th of 1980 [SPOILER] his mother, crazy, kills all the boys who camp on the lake because years before someone had drowned her son Jason. Which then turned out to be alive, well, and pretty bad.
