Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana.
This ring made of 925 Silver depicting the Kappa is part of the "Japanized" collection.
Most descriptions depict kappa as child-sized humanoids, although their bodies are more like those of monkeys or frogs than those of humans. Some descriptions say that their faces are gorilles, while others have a face with a beak similar to that of turtles. Generally the drawings show kappa with thick, turtle-like shells and scaly skin in colors ranging from green to yellow or blue.
Kappa inhabit the lakes and rivers of Japan and are endowed with several characteristics that help them in this environment, such as webbed hands and feet. They are sometimes said to smell like fish and certainly know how to swim well. The expression kappa no kawa nagare ("a kappa that gets carried away by the current") means that even experts can make mistakes.
