Koala
The koala or coala, (Phascolarctos cinereus; Goldfuss, 1817), also called fascolarto and "little bear", is an Australian marsupial mammal, the only living representative of the genus Phascolarctos (de Blainville, 1816) and of the family Phascolarctidae (Owen, 1839) , or climbing marsupials.
The koala has large rounded, hairy ears, a large head, lively eyes, a large muzzle, and a flat, naked nose. It has a grayish colored fur with small white tufts on the chest: the upper part of the body is a grayish color. The coat is long, soft, woolly and, due to the diet, smells like eucalyptus. The body is stocky and devoid of a tail, the feet have five prehensile toes, with sharp claws that allow it to climb trees, on which it lives in small groups.
