The koala has large rounded, hairy ears, a large head, lively eyes, a large muzzle, and a flat, naked nose. It has a grayish colored fur: the upper part of the body is a grayish color. The coat is long, soft, woolly and, due to the diet, smells like eucalyptus. The body is stocky and devoid of a tail, the feet have five prehensile toes, with sharp claws that allow it to climb trees, on which it lives in small groups.
