Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana.
This pendant made of 925 Silver depicting the Heavy Metal symbol is part of the "Hands" collection.

In the field of rock (especially heavy metal and hard rock music in general) it is a gesture of approval and complicity between the fans. The gesture of the horns in this case, however, has a double shape and origin: the shape with three fingers (thumb, index and little finger raised) is rooted in hippie culture due to its derivation from sign language, in which it is used to express love. ; examples can be found in the Beatles animated film Yellow Submarine in which it is used by John Lennon, then by extension it is associated with rock culture; the authorship of the variant with two fingers (index and little finger) is much discussed, but the American singer Ronnie James Dio claimed to have taken the gesture from the Italian grandmother who used it to ward off evil, in line with the mystical themes of Black Sabbath.

James Dio released it on the Heaven and Hell tour in 1980; During the concerts it is possible to see entire expanses of hands raised in the act of making this gesture in honor of the band that is playing, both with three and with two fingers.

However, the first appearance of the gesture of the horns in the world of rock music was in the booklet of the album Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls by Coven.
