Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana. This ring depicting Jim Morrison and can be made of 925 Silver is part of the "Famous Portraits" collection.
James Douglas Morrison, aka Jim (Melbourne, December 8, 1943 - Paris, July 3, 1971), was an American singer-songwriter and poet.
Charismatic leader and frontman of the American band The Doors, he was one of the most important exponents of the cultural revolution of the 1960s, as well as one of the greatest rock singers in history. An impetuous "prophet of freedom" and a cursed poet, he is remembered as one of the most seductive figures in the history of music and one of the greatest symbols of youthful restlessness. He was nicknamed the Lizard King and was compared to Dionysus, the deity of delirium and the liberation of the senses.
In 2008 Morrison was ranked 47th in Rolling Stone's list of 100 best singers and, the following year, 22nd in the "50 Greatest Singers of Rock" chart by British magazine Classic Rock.
