Jewel made entirely by hand by the Italian craftsman Gianmarco Fontana.
This pendant made of 925 Silver depicting a tattoo machine is part of the "Special" collection.
Mini pendant / charm dedicated to the tattoo machine.
The tattoo machine is a manual electric device used to perform tattoos by introducing pigments into the dermis.
Modern tattoo machines use an electromagnetic coil system that causes linear motion of a metal bar. At the end of this one or more needles are placed which, penetrating the skin, leave the pigments in the dermis, a layer below the epidermis, not subject to continuous cell changes, which would cause the tattoo to deteriorate in a short period of time. The speed with which the needles penetrate the skin is about 50 penetrations per second. In recent years we have seen the introduction of the electric motor machine called "rotary": unlike the coils, in fact, we find an electric motor of variable power, which allows the needles to penetrate into the dermis. This type of machine allows to have a lower weight and a unique practicality, since it can be set with a few simple moves, to be used in coloring and delineating, without the obligation to have two machines for these operations.
