Michael Myers (conosciuto anche come Ombra, Ombra della Strega, Uomo Nero o Signore della Morte) è un personaggio fittizio protagonista della saga di Halloween.
John Carpenter e Debra Hill concepirono il personaggio per il film, che originariamente doveva intitolarsi The Babysitter Murders, e l'autore lo chiamò così in segno di gratitudine verso un Michael Myers realmente esistito: il distributore europeo della sua seconda pellicola, Distretto 13 - Le brigate della morte.
Michael non parla mai e il suo volto da adulto si vede di rado nelle pellicole.
